I do exactly the same with my wife’s automobile. As opposed to carrying two bulky fobs and threat being cloned by motor vehicle burglars within a mall parking zone, I'm going old-fashioned with guide keys. Replacing a misplaced or destroyed fob can cost hundreds of pounds. Davis L. Tech
